The facilities for investors in green investments consist of a maximised exemption in Box III (€57,845) and a tax benefit (0.7%) for taxpayers as an addition to the standard interest and profit exemptions.
How does it work?
If you believe your organisation has a green project that could fall within this scheme, you must contact a credit institution or investment enterprise that has a Green Fund. If they are interested in supporting your project, they can submit an application to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). The RVO will submit a recommendation to the Secretary of Infrastructure and Water Management, who will ultimately issue a so-called Green Certificate to indicate that a project is green.
