Gemeente Apeldoorn

Adriaan Hellemans has been active in the subsidy landscape since 2006 and currently works as a strategic subsidy advisor for the municipality of Apeldoorn. He is mainly responsible for the inventory and application of subsidies on provincial, national and European level: "Often someone comes to me with the question "are there subsidies for this?", for example for the construction of a road. I then look at the possibilities and elaborate on them," Hellemans says.

This is where the subsidy database comes in handy. Hellemans has been using the subsidy database since 2007, together with 4 other colleagues: "When I started at the municipality of Apeldoorn, we looked at which subsidy database corresponded with our wishes. I had been working with the Vindsubsidies database for years and was already used to it, but we wanted to see if it was still the right choice for us. After comparing with other subsidy databases, we concluded that Vindsubsidies is still the most complete. In addition, it is totally worth the price. If you have to do grant inventories and look everything up through Google it is very time consuming. The database works a lot more efficiently and you have a quick earn back.''
